Harkmac Construction commitment to health and safety management is fundamental to the character and success of the business, we have developed a solid H&S culture which resonates throughout the company.
We recognise that we must continue to strive to uphold and exceed current industry standards for health and safety performance. Our in house H&S Manager maintains our policies and ensures that targets and objectives are maintained throughout the company.
Health and safety is communicated on a regular basis to our employees and anyone working alongside or directly for us via inductions, toolbox talk’s site meetings and training programmes where they will also receive information on policy changes and legislation. The company’s contracts managers alongside our health and safely manager will maintain health and safety on our sites and create a safe working environment for everybody whilst providing high levels of supervision, instruction, information and training.
Our unique training matrix identifies our training needs for each individual depending on experience qualifications and site specific needs. All of our employees are trained to the highest standards using training associations such as (CSCS, NVQ, CPCS, NPORS, CITB, IOSH, NEBOSH etc. See below) to achieve our high standards of knowledge and performance. Our employees hold a number of different cards and qualifications to ensure not only our compliance with industry requirement but also our competence to carry out the work safely and to the high level we set.
